We Had an Incredible February 2020, and the Stats to Prove it!
Between the Waste Management Phoenix Open (which routinely attracts 250,000+ spectators on Saturday alone) and Super Bowl Sunday occurring on February 1st and 2nd, respectively, we had an incredible start to the month, and there was hardly any downtime!
Our occupancy rate was 72.42%, which consisted of seven different groups enjoying their stay at our VRBO property. Since our occupancy rate goal for the year is 55%, we are off to a great start in 2020.
Thankfully, our guests treated the property extremely well, which minimized the cost for repair. We did, however, decide to replace the toilet paper holders and a few of the towel bars with a sturdier version that could better withstand the constant use. The total cost of repairs added up to $256.38.
February ended with a net income of $12,748.10 prior to paying debt service, interest, insurance, and property taxes. Since March is another popular tourist time in Scottsdale, we are looking forward to another lucrative month!
