Hi. I'm Andrea Lilienfeld with The Kay-Grant Group. Today I'm at Scottsdale Estates, one of the best-located subdivisions in Old Town Scottsdale. What we're getting ready to tour is a 2,154 square foot home right in the heart of everything Old Town has to offer. As we go through I want to make sure we take time to notate all the different upgrades that have already been done with this home.
Starting with the exterior. What you're going to notice as you view the exterior of this home is that a brand new roof was put on in 2014. A brand new HVAC was installed in 2014, as well as the home having brand new windows that are dual paned installed in 2011, as well as all new doors throughout the home. With that, let's go take a look at what they've done to the interior.
As we enter the home, what you're going to notice is just how spacious the main living space is. There's plenty of area for multiple seating areas as well as a large oversized dining room table. The entire common area of this home has already been redone for you with tile floors in the main area, and then looking at the new addition you're going to see the brand new tile floors have been laid. As we're moving throughout the main living area, you're going to notice a beautifully done wood fireplace leading into the new addition that's been put on to this home.
The new addition to this home added a lot of extra space to the home. It originally was added on as a play room area for young children so they could be near the adults while still having their own space. However, if you don't have that growing family yet this is still another great area to relax. Now we find ourselves in this beautiful oversized kitchen with stainless steel appliances and ample cabinetry. The owner of this home has already taken the time to add on a large oversized pantry that any homeowner is sure to love. As we walk through this home I'd like everyone to take special note of the detailed carpentry that's been done throughout the home. Now that we've seen the main living space why don't we walk down this hallway and check out the 3 bedrooms and office that we'll find? Come on down. Down the hallway a little further we'll find a second spare bedroom which again is a great size, large enough for a queen sized bed with dressers and nightstands. Across the hallway from the second spare bedroom, you're going to find 1 of 2 full sized bathrooms. At the end of the hallway on the left-hand side, you're going to find the full sized office that's been built. What you'll see is that the previous owner has already built in shelves for you and that the room again is large enough if you wanted to turn it into a 4th bedroom. There's plenty of space for you to put, again, a queen sized bed with nightstands and dressers. At the end of the hallway, we're going to find the master bedroom.
The master bedroom is the largest of the 3 bedrooms and has plenty of room for a king-sized bed with dresser and nightstands. The previous owner has also built in a dresser into the oversized closet to help with storage and ensure that the new owners have plenty of space for all of their belongings. Off of the master bedroom, you're going to find the second full sized bathroom. In here you're going to find a fully tiled shower, as well as a single vanity sink for the owner's use.
Just past the master ensuite, you're going to find a large, oversized, laundry room. This is a new addition to the home as many homes in this subdivision don't have interior laundry. Not only is the laundry room equipped with both a washer and a dryer, the previous owner has also already built in hanging space that you can utilize to hang all of your clothes as you're doing laundry as well as shelves for any laundry baskets or cleaning supplies you may have. Having a laundry room of this size in this location is truly something you're not going to find in just any home.
Now that we've toured the interior of this beautiful home let's take just a moment to see what the exterior has to offer. Come on with me. As we look around the backyard what you're going to see is that the previous owner took a lot of pride in his backyard. He ended up installing pavers throughout to help with the level of maintenance needed to maintain this yard, as well as he installed a large wooden playground for his children. Now, this is something I'm sure that any future owner is definitely going to enjoy.
