The Vietnam Memorial Trail is 1.3 miles, about a 45-minute hike. This trail is a bit steep, so make sure to wear hiking boots. Once you arrive at the tallest peak, there is a bench where you can relax and watch the butterflies and hummingbirds while enjoying the view and hydrating.

The Maricopa Trail: Sun Valley Parkway to Grand Avenue is a 7.3-mile hike that is ideal for hiking, running, and mountain biking. You can bring your furry friends; they just need to be on a leash. The hike will take you about two and a half hours. This hike is best done during the cooler months in Arizona. 

For a quick, easy 20-minute hike, Centennial Friendship Park Loop is less than a mile, and there is no harsh terrain. 

Several hospitals, such as Dignity Health and Abrazo, and medical centers are a short drive from the community.
