Conveniently located in Surprise just west of Sun City West, Sun City Grand is near major freeways like Loop 303 and US 60.

This popular eatery serves an all-you-can-eat fish fry every Wednesday and Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In addition to its fish fry, this restaurant offers a tasty breakfast menu with items like Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast burritos. The lunch menu features favorites like burgers, hot dogs, and, of course, homemade pizza.
Are you a baseball fan? Sun City Grand is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Surprise Stadium, the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers spring training facility.
Is hiking your thing? Living in Sun City Grand means you live near several fantastic spots to enjoy the Arizona sun while getting your workout in. The Vietnam Memorial Trail is 1.3 miles, about a 45-minute hike. This trail is a bit steep, so make sure to wear hiking boots. Once you arrive at the tallest peak, there is a bench where you can relax and watch the butterflies and hummingbirds while enjoying the view and hydrating.
The Maricopa Trail: Sun Valley Parkway to Grand Avenue is a 7.3-mile hike that is ideal for hiking, running, and mountain biking. You can bring your furry friends; they just need to be on a leash. The hike will take you about two and a half hours. This hike is best done during the cooler months in Arizona.
For a quick, easy 20-minute hike, Centennial Friendship Park Loop is less than a mile, and there is no harsh terrain.
Several hospitals, such as Dignity Health and Abrazo, and medical centers are a short drive from the community.
