Evergreen 9 Community Description

There is plenty of art and history surrounding Evergreen 9. A short commute down 5th Street is the Phoenix Center for the Arts. First established in 1975, the center was in danger of closing due to budget cuts; however, the community responded and the Center is now run by a nonprofit. The Phoenix Center for the Arts offers multiple adult classes including metalworks, painting, ceramics, performing arts, and many more. The Center also includes a 210-seat theater, and can also host a variety of special events. If you love art, you’ll love living near the Phoenix Center for the Arts at Evergreen 9.

A few blocks south of Evergreen 9, down 3rd street, will place you in the heart of downtown Phoenix’s Roosevelt Row, where much of the fine art, dining and boutiques in the city are located. Jobot Coffee and Bar is a great place to get your day started, as well as enjoy a wonderful weekend brunch. While you’re there, you will find some great art for sale from some of the best local artists. For a late night entertainment venue, serving great food and a wide variety of craft beers, The Lost Leaf showcases amazing talent, both in their Gallery and on their stage.
