Transportation in North Phoenix

North Phoenix features three main highways that intersect through the area. The Loop 101 runs east/west through North Phoenix, and is the main route used to reach North and Old Town Scottsdale, Peoria, Glendale, and Avondale. Interstate 17 is the main route used to go to Sedona and Flagstaff, and it also provides the most direct route to Downtown Phoenix. Lastly, the AZ Highway 51 runs north/south and provides access to Paradise Valley and the Biltmore area.

Schools in North Phoenix

Deer Valley Unified School District and Paradise Valley Unified School District are the main school district in North Phoenix and feature several highly ranked schools. Notable schools include Pinnacle High School, Sandra Day O'Connor High School, Explorer Middle School, and Desert Trail Middle School. Those with college students living in North Phoenix will have easy access to Paradise Valley Community College and its incredible assortment of degree programs.
