Apache Wells Country Club
Apache Wells CC is located near the northwest intersection of McKellips and North Recker Road, and also provides tee times to the public. This 18-hole par-71 facility features a player-friendly layout, with flat, forgiving fairways and well-manicured greens. Other amenities include a short game area, driving range, and a bar and grille with patio seating.

Mesa Country Club
Located just south of the Loop 202 near Country Club Road, Mesa Country Club has been a staple in the city for over 70 years. The 18-hole parkland style golf course was designed by William Bell, who is best known for designing the original Torrey Pines Golf Club in San Diego. Tree-lined fairways, redesigned bunkers, and some of the smallest greens in the state make Mesa CC a fun challenge for all skill levels. The club offers a variety of Equity memberships, which also provide access to the Terrace Grill, pool, fitness center, and tennis courts.

Red Mountain Ranch Country Club
Approximately 20 minutes east of Mesa Country Club, Red Mountain Ranch Country Club is an incredible Pete Dye-designed golf course with many more amenities. Nestled just south of Red Mountain, the 18-hole golf course features sloping fairways and tricky greens, which are common themes on Pete Dye golf courses. Other amenities at Red Mountain Ranch include fine dining, a refreshing pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and a variety of social events for all members.

Arizona Golf Resort and Event Center
Located near the southeast corner of Broadway and Power Roads, Arizona Golf Resort and Event Center features a beautiful 18-hole golf course, along with driving range and short game practice facility. Water comes into play on just 4 holes, and with four sets of tee boxes, it is incredibly fair for golfers of every skill level. The resort also offers two different restaurants, and their event space is ideal for weddings, retirement parties, and other festivities.

Dobson Ranch Golf Course
Built in 1974, Dobson Ranch is Mesa's only municipal golf course, and has been highly regarded as one of the Valley's best places to play. Las Sendas Golf Club
Enjoy a fun golf experience when you live near Las Sendas Golf Club. Located near Power Road and Eagle Crest, just east of Red Mountain Ranch, this semi-private golf club was the first Robert Trent Jones-designed golf course in Arizona. Las Sendas Golf Club is a desert-style layout, with spectacular views of Usery Mountains; although it is one of the tougher Mesa golf courses, they offer six sets of tee boxes to make it fair for every golfer. Other amenities offered include an acclaimed golf academy, driving range, and a full-service restaurant and bar.

Leisure World Golf Club
Retirees interested in living within an incredible active adult community will love Leisure World. The community is home to two golf courses: Coyote Run, a regulation 18-hole championship course, and Heron Lakes, an 18-hole par-62 executive course. Aside from the beautiful golf courses, Leisure World provides a variety of incredible activities and facilities, including pickleball, a new tennis center, swimming pools, fitness center, and so much more!
Townhomes and single family homes can be found throughout the Leisure World community, and many of them feature golf course views. The community is also just a short drive away from popular shopping centers, restaurants, and the AZ Highway 60.
Longbow Golf Club
Located just south of the Loop 202, near the Highley Road exit, Longbow Golf Club is a beautiful 18-hole golf facility. Built in 1998 and designed by Ken Kavanaugh, Longbow features a unique desert-style layout. After a complete redesign in 2003, the fairways were widened in order to make the course more playable for less experienced golfers, and the revamped practice area is ideal for working on your game. Other amenities at Longbow include a beautiful clubhouse, full-service restaurant, and a spacious patio with heaters for the winter and misters for the summer.
Longbow Golf Club is one of the few public golf courses in Mesa that do not have any real estate nestled near the fairways. However, there are plenty of subdivisions less than a five minute drive from the clubhouse, including Ridgeview.
Painted Mountain Golf Resort
Nestled near the intersection of McKellips and Recker Roads, Painted Mountain Golf Resort is a great golf destination for both locals and tourists. This 18-hole, par-70 golf course features a relatively flat layout, which makes it a great place for beginners and high-handicappers. Although the facility does not have a driving range, their short game practice area is home to the John Jacobs' Golf Schools and Academies, and the restaurant offers patio seating and a full menu.
Several different single family home and townhome subdivisions can be found throughout the Painted Mountain Golf Club layout. The community is within a short drive of Mesa Community College Red Mountain Campus, making this a great place for families with college-aged kids to call home.
Desert Sands Golf Course
This is one of Mesa's only standalone 18-hole executive golf courses. Located near the intersection of Baseline and Sossaman Roads, Desert Sands first broke ground in 1968, and has provided a fun golf experience for Mesa locals and tourists ever since. A unique par-65 layout, Desert Sands is known for having small, tricky greens, which provides a challenge for even the most experienced golfers. Desert Sands also offers a driving range, practice area, and the Oasis Grill.
The Desert Sands Golf Country features some of the most affordable golf course real estate in the Valley. Fully remodeled manufactured homes provide a cozy, comfortable living space along with convenient access to Highway 60.
Superstition Springs Golf Club
Located just west of Desert Sands near Baseline and Power Roads, Superstition Springs is a beautifully-designed Greg Nash masterpiece. Featuring a picturesque layout with plenty of mounds, large sand traps, and several water hazards, this 18-hole public golf course has plenty to offer its customers. Guests of Superstition Springs also enjoy a short game area with practice bunker, a driving range, and the full service Grill & Bar.
As a whole, Superstition Springs is home to several different subdivisions with a variety of features. It is a unique opportunity to own a home, patio home, or condo near a golf course and a lake. Residents of Superstition Springs also enjoy convenient access to shopping centers and the Loop 202 via Highway 60, making this a great neighborhood for East Valley commuters.
Toka Sticks Golf Club
Toka Sticks Golf Club is owned by the Gila River Indian Community, and has hosted a variety of professional open qualifiers, including local U.S. Open qualifying. This relatively flat golf course is a favorite of high-handicappers and golfers who are just getting started, but still provides a challenge for skilled players. The Bombardier Grille is open for breakfast and lunch, and their Toka Card makes playing here incredibly affordable.
Since the golf course is bordered by the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, the homes near Toka Sticks are about two miles away. The area just east of Toka Sticks, near the intersection of Ellsworth and Ray Roads, is filled with several new construction homes.

Viewpoint Golf Resort
Enjoy incredible mountain views on a well-manicured golf course at Viewpoint Golf Resort. This 18-hole championship golf course is located near University Drive and the AZ Loop 202, and requires precision and accuracy to navigate around the various bunkers and hazards.
